HART FIJI

HART FIJI HART Vision: HART Giving Hope, Restoring Dignity, and Empowering Lives.

The Housing Assistance and Relief Trust (HART) was established in 1970 by the Fiji Council of Churches. It is a charitable organization that was initially formed to provide shelter for the destitute in Fiji. Today the organization provides other support and services annually to about 850 families of mainly women and children who have little or no regular source of income and most rely on the Fiji

Government’s Department of Social Welfare for financial assistance. The assistance provided by HART includes caregiving services for the elderly and people with special needs, education assistance for children, and welfare services. The HART also offers information and referral services and strives to educate the public on their responsibility towards their fellow members. Its advocacy work in the country also aims to improve public policy and keep the issues pertaining to the destitute in society in the hearts and minds of decision-makers, donors, workers, and volunteers. However, the ultimate objective that HART aspires to achieve is far beyond high-quality supports and services for the destitute people in its communities. It is more specifically about empowering people, especially women and children to move on and live a fuller life in the wider community.

Ratu Sukuna Day Celebrations at the HART office. HART Social Club, taking us back in time to honor a great son of Fiji. Reflections on our Fijian history and the heroes who have gone before us. Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna, although revered as the father of morden Fiji, he was a strong advocate for the protection of Fijian traditions, language, and culture, promoting a unified but deeply traditional way of life. Blessed day from the HART management and staff. God bless Fiji. ❤️🙏🏻

Proverbs 31:25-31 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. The Nakasi HART Youth club honoring mothers with prayers, dance and tea...vinaka youths.
