From the heart of New Zealand to the communities of Fiji 🇳🇿🤝🇫🇯

Our brother, Shamim travelled all the way from our ZFF to witness firsthand the reality on the ground with Team Zakat Foundation Fiji the struggles, hardships, silent tears, and daily battles faced by many of our brothers and sisters within Fiji.

What he saw was more than poverty.
He saw resilience.
He saw families fighting to survive with dignity.
He saw children holding onto hope despite difficulties many could never imagine.

This journey was not just a visit. It was a reminder that behind every donation, every food pack, every act of kindness… is a real human story.
Together, we continue to stand for those who feel forgotten. Together, we continue to serve humanity for the sake of Allah SWT.

For the past three days, Team Zakat Foundation Fiji has been on the frontlines--reaching 135 families, carrying out vital assessments, and responding to urgent needs within our communities. Among these efforts was a heartfelt visit to Marasa in Nadi, where we stood beside a brother who recently lost his home to a devastating fire. In moments like these, your support becomes more than charity—it becomes hope, dignity, and strength for those facing hardship.

We were privileged to have Dr. Shakeel accompany us, offering his expertise and witnessing firsthand the reality of the work being carried out daily by Team ZFF❤️.

March was a truly busy and impactful month for Zakat Foundation Fiji❤️. Throughout the month, our team was out in the field every week, working tirelessly to support families and individuals in need across our communities.

From ongoing assistance initiatives to reaching more households each week, March reflected our continued commitment to making a difference where it matters most. The dedication of our volunteers and supporters made it possible to extend help consistently, despite a packed schedule🫡.

We wrapped up the month with our March monthly distribution of grocery packs, ensuring that many families were supported with essential food items to ease their daily burdens.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, supported, and stood with us. Your generosity and support continue to drive our mission forward.❤️🤍

Today, we walked into homes where even the simplest Eid preparations felt out of reach…
And yet, the moment a small pack was placed into their hands — everything changed.
