The foundation works voluntarily to bring secure and sound openings to a child – looking for trust worthy funders, donors, contributors, volunteers and friends to support our cause for the children of tomorrow. Training and inspiring children to recognize their value; equipping each child to be prosperous in his or her endeavour. Our Mission
Our aim is to facilitate a child’s learning by provisio
n of necessary resources and programmes. It’s dawning
In its original stages a hope of a teacher was that: if children facilitated with extra, yet well planned activities and programmes, the children will achieve better opportunities for sustaining their near future. Timoci Saukuru dreamt that one day the children of his district would become prosperous & proud citizens. Very genuine and educated; reaching heights he could never reach diving depths he would not dive – greater role models. However, his dreams were somewhat blurred by lack of necessary resources and programmes for the children of his district – in fact this is true for most children of the pacific. This dream gave birth to an innovation that will see many children soar heights in achieving and becoming greater and more successful citizens of Fiji. The Organisation
The chair of the board of trustees heads the Foundation. Committed and talented youths and prominent members of the education community affiliate the Trust. The members of trust include individuals appointed by the board of trustees to be ‘Members’. The executive governing body is the board of trustees; that serves as the final decision-making body vetting all planning against fundamental policies of the foundation. Respected members of the education community associate the Education Board, whose role is to finalise and endorse activities, programmes for production with prior approval of the board of trustees. The director of programmes contracts its members and manages the board and its policies for its members. Our PROGRAMMES
