As we wear black today and stand together against domestic violence and abuse of females in all its forms, one of the ways we are aiming to empower women is by upskilling our carers in financial literacy to prevent financial abuse.

We have started our first budgeting workshop with our carers led by finance, business and economic expert Andrew Moussa.

As Minister Sashi Kiran highlighted in her address in parliament, we must take action through practical strategies and we are doing this at the grassroots here at St Mina Children's Home not just for the carers but also teaching all kids how to save, how to prioritise and how to plan for their future.

So proud of one of our own, who represented his school in the 100m and 200m and relays at Lautoka for the last two days.
He then achieved second place and made it to the finals where he placed 3rd and 4th.

So proud of his commitment and perseverance and we pray that he continues in this path as the Lord shows him his gifts and leads him to his purpose.
