🇺🇸🇫🇯 Success in the West!

The Fiji U.S. Alumni Association’s Western Division Networking Event was a tremendous success, held on July 4th in Nadi.

More than just a celebration, the event sparked meaningful conversations on a pressing issue — the rise in drug activity in our communities. Together, we explored how alumni can mobilize community resources and be part of real, lasting solutions.

This gathering created a vital space for Western-based alumni to connect, share, and engage directly with members of the Board. A huge vinaka vakalevu to everyone who attended and contributed!

Your dedication to strengthening people-to-people ties and promoting educational and cultural exchange has left a lasting impact on the alumni community in Fiji.

Fiji United States of America Alumni Community Outreach to Golden Age Home, Samabula
Suva, Fiji – 12th April 2025

The Fiji United States of America (FUSA) Alumni Association proudly conducted a heartwarming community outreach initiative on the 12th April 2025 at the Golden Age Home in Samabula, reaffirming its commitment to service and social responsibility.

Alumni members and board representatives visited the Samabula Home, where they shared moments of joy, compassion, and gratitude with the female residents. As a gesture of appreciation and respect, the alumni introduced a special serenade, bringing music and warmth to the hearts of the elders who have contributed significantly to the fabric of our society.

This initiative marks a continued effort by the FUSA Alumni to engage meaningfully with the local community through acts of kindness and inclusivity. It reflects the values and principles instilled in members during their time in the United States and their commitment to giving back to their home country.

The FUSA Alumni Association extends its heartfelt thanks to the management and staff of the Golden Age Home for their hospitality, and to the residents for allowing the alumni to share in their day. We look forward to future engagements that continue to foster connection, care, and community.
