Through war, displacement, and hardship, they carried their families, protected our culture, and kept our identity alive. Their strength continues to inspire generations.

Today we remember, respect, and thank the women who shaped our history and our future.
Thank you, the Heroines of Tamil Eelam.

இயற்கையோடு இணைந்த, தமிழரின் பண்பாட்டு வாழ்வை எடுத்துக்காட்டும் தைப்பொங்கல், தமிழரின் புத்தாண்டாகும் .இவ்விழா மூலம் தமிழரின் பண்பாட்டு மரபைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பதோடு, எமது இளையோர்களிற்கும் வேற்றினத்தவர்களிற்கும் தமிழரின் தொன்மை வாய்ந்த பண்பாட்டு வாழ்வியலின் சிறப்பை வெளிப்படுத்துவதாகவும் தைப்பொங்கல் நாளை, தமிழ்ப்புத்தாண்டைக் கொண்டாட வேண்டும்.

Happy Pongal!

Thai Pongal, which reflects the cultural life of the Tamil people in harmony with nature, is the Tamil New Year. Through this festival, not only do we uphold the cultural traditions of the Tamils, but we also showcase the excellence of the ancient Tamil way of life to our younger generation and to people of other ethnicities. Therefore, Thai Pongal Day should be celebrated as the Tamil New Year.

அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்!
தமிழீழத் தாயகத்தை மீட்டெடுக்கும், தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் போராட்டத்தில் தமது இன்னுயிர்களை ஈந்த மாவீரர்களை நவம்பர் 27 இல் நினைவுகூர்ந்து விளக்கேற்றத் தயாராகுவோம். தமிழினத்தின் சுதந்திரமான வாழ்விற்காக தம்மை அர்ப்பணித்த மாவீரர்களைப் போற்றிவணங்குவோம்.

On November 27, let us prepare to remember and pay tribute to the heroes who laid down their lives in the struggle for the liberation of Tamil Eelam. Let us honor and salute the brave warriors who sacrificed themselves for the free life of the Tamil people.
