We’re super happy to announce the first sitz of the semester, the Practice Sitz on 10.9. at 18:00!

Have you come to Finland to make new experiences, discover the culture, meet new people, have fun, sing local bangers while tasting local food and enjoying local drinks, experiencing the highlight of Finnish student life? If so, this event is made just for you!!

Our theme for this awesome night will be “Finnish Stereotypes”! Let’s get those clichés out!! Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to experience what most Finnish students call the highlight in the events, the famous sitz party!!

The ticket sale will happen in Kide app, on Monday (31.08) at 12.00! Be on time as the amount of tickets is limited!!

What is included in the ticket? Entry to the Sitz (including 3 light meals) and a unique event patch!
It is very recommended to bring your own drinks!! Please, do NOT bring glass bottles!

NOTE! The sitz ticket doesn’t get you free entry to the after-party.

Accessibility information: Loud noises are expected to occur during the event. The event venue is accessible, but there are doorsteps on the way to the venue. Restrooms are not wheelchair accessible due to their size.

This event is an 18+ restricted event, make sure to be 18 on the day of the event. If you’re not 18, you will be removed without compensation. We will be checking IDs so remember to take yours with you.

Escape the city and spend a day in Kurjenrahka National Park, a stunning mix of peaceful bogs, lush forests, and the clear waters of Savojärvi lake. Join us for a walk around Lake Savojärvi, along wooden boardwalks, through untouched nature; breathe in the fresh air, and maybe even spot cranes or swans. The hike will be about 6 km, perfect for enjoying the scenery without rushing. 🌱

Feeling adventurous? You can also take a dip in the clear lake waters! 🏊 If you’d like to swim, don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and a towel.

We have three shifts, so you can pick what suits you best. All departures leave from the square beside Turku Cathedral. The departures are the following:

Shift 1: Starts at 10:00.

Shift 2: Starts at 11:00.

Shift 3: Starts at 12:00. 

We will be there at the bus stop waiting for you. Please arrive 15 min before the departure time, as the bus won't wait for you!

For just 15€, you’ll enjoy a refreshing outdoor adventure right on Turku’s doorstep, in a beautiful national park. Bring a backpack, enough water, and your curiosity for the wild. We'll end the hike at a grilling spot, where you may enjoy some snacks! In addition, you will also receive a Kurjenrahka patch for your overalls.
