Apply to the Socially Sustainable Societies bachelors programme at Tampere University!

Socially Sustainable Societies is an English-language Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme at Tampere University focused on understanding and shaping fair, resilient and inclusive societies of the future. Students study key topics in social sciences and public health such as welfare systems, equality, wellbeing and social policy. The programme develops strong analytical, research and practical skills for addressing complex social challenges and preparing for careers in public, private and third-sector organisations or further academic studies.💜💡✨

Hello Tipsy people 💜

For this semester (September-December/January) the board is looking for an education policy coordinator 📚📝

Are you interested in being part of the Tipsy board? Are you passionate about improving the academic life of Tipsy students? Then this role is made for you! 🫵🫵

The responsibilities mainly include supporting the board (meetings roughly every two weeks), taking in feedback from Tipsy's students about academic matters, and joining the monthly SOC steering group meetings to represent Tipsy 😌

A more detailed description can be found in the sign-up form through which to apply for the position! 🥵

If you have any questions you can dm either me or Annika (Tipsy's president 👀)

And/or show up to Tipsy's Association Meeting on the 29th @16:00 (location TBD) where the coordinator is chosen via voting in which you can pitch yourself for the role as well! 😼

The rumours are true... 😈

Tipsy ry communication channels are moving from Telegram to WhatsApp next Monday 01.09. 💜

This decision has been in consideration for a long time, and it is finally happening. Telegram does have its advantages and is used in many Finnish student circles, but we believe WhatsApp is a better fit for us. Not only is it more accessible to international students, but it also allows us to be more organized and have all the Tipsy related groups under one tab.

We hope you are as excited as we are for this new era of Tipsy! 🥳☀️

Hello everyone! Vappu is around the corner, and of course we once again plan to have a lovely picnic all together 🧺💐

Come join us at 13.30 in Koskipuisto for some traditional vappu (&spring) sima and baked goods 🤤

The location will be as shown on the map📍, but as it is difficult to foresee what the situation will be at the park during this busy day, we will send a live location here on the day of the picnic. 😈

We encourage you to bring something for yourself and/or to share - be it food, drinks, a blanket to sit on, or even a pack of cards 🃏🥐🍻

And of course - don't forget to come in your overalls ;) 🤝💜

The next day we will begin voting! The top two patches will be deemed winners and we will get to producing them so we can enjoy them asap! 💜

The Tipsy’s Annual Spring Meeting will be on 03.04.2025 at 16:00. The meeting will be at the Lyhty building behind the main building. We will serve coffee and snacks at the meeting.
