Transla ry Transla ry on Tampereen yliopiston käännöstieteen opiskelijoiden ainejärjestö. // The subject association of translation students at Tampere University.

Transla kutsuu itseään mieluusti pieneksi ja herttaiseksi, sillä se on totuudellista. Puheissaan ja toimissaan Transla, Tampereen yliopiston käännöstieteen opiskelijain ainejärjestö, pyrkiikin aina olemaan oikeuden ja kohtuuden asialla lystinpitoa unohtamatta. Jäsenistömme etuja pyrimme varjelemaan muun muassa osallistumalla aktiivisesti erinäisten hallinnollisten elinten sekä oppiaineemme kehityk

seen liittyvien työryhmien toimintaan. Ihmisolennoista parhaimmille Translan on tiedetty varsin säännöllisesti tarjoavan tapahtumia, kahvia ja olkapäätä. Tapahtumista merkittävimpinä mainittakoon yleensä Kieliasiantuntijoiden tai SKTL:n kanssa yhteistyössä järjestettävät työelämätilaisuudet sekä moninaiset hauskanpitomahdollisuudet.

🌟Wellbeing Days 30.9.-2.10.2024🌟

In the midst of a hectic student life, it's important to stop and focus on your own wellbeing. Transla, Lexica and Kopula are organising three days of wellbeing days. We invite all members to refresh and take a breather!✨

The Wellbeing Days will take place from the 30th September to the 2nd October. The programme includes all kinds of activities in different areas of wellbeing, from sports to crafts and cultural experiences. Most of the events are free of charge and you don't need to register in advance 🔥

Here is the schedule for the week:

Monday 30.9. 4–7 pm
On Monday we are embracing the autumn atmosphere together with an engaging handcraft session. 🎨 Hosted by Kopula, this event offers a relaxed environment where participants can work on their own artwork or craft projects while enjoying the company of others. Additionally, the organizers will provide a variety of handicraft supplies, allowing attendees to explore new artistic techniques. Everyone is welcome to join and discover their inner artist! 😊

When? Monday 30.9. from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

Tuesday 1.2. 10:45-11:30am
Transla is organising a dance workout for the wellbeing days.💃🏼 The workout is to music and is suitable for everyone and does not require previous experience.

When? Tuesday 1.10. from 10:45 to 11:30 am.
Where? Sportuni group gym, central campus (Atalpa)

You can bring your indoor shoes and a water bottle if you wish.

Tuesday 1.10. 2 pm onwards
On Tuesday we will visit the museum centre Vapriikki.🎟️ The museum centre has several different exhibitions, such as Manserock, The Finnish Museum of Games, The Hockey Hall of Fame Finland, and 50 years of Dungeons & Dragons. N.B. The admission fee to Vapriikki is 7 euros for a student; this gives you access to all the exhibitions.

When? Tuesday 1.10. from 2 pm onward
Where? Museum centre Vapriikki (Alaverstaanraitti 5)

Wednesday 2.10. 6-11 pm
The highlight of the Wellness Days will be a relaxing and refreshing sauna event at the Solu sauna.🧖🏻‍♀️🧖🏼 Snacks and a variety of sheetmasks will be available. In the sauna swim wear will be used, making the sauna available to all throughout the evening.👙🩳The event is alcohol-free.

When? Wednesday 2.10. from 6 to 11 pm
Where? Solun Sauna, Kuntokatu 3, L-building

Remember to bring your swim wear. If you wish, you can bring your own alcoholic drink.

All Wellbeing Days events are free of any form of harassment and discrimination. However, if you experience inappropriate behaviour, please contact the event organizers The facilities are accessible, only the sauna is not fully accessible.
