On Valentine’s Day, the Chinese New Year Cultural Showcase and Exchange 2026 was held at Oulu Central Library — at the heart of our city.
Within the framework of Oulu2026 – European Capital of Culture, the gathering became more than a celebration. A tradition rooted in reunion and renewal met a day dedicated to friendship and companionship. Two cultural rhythms shared the same space — distinct in origin, yet resonant in spirit.
When traditions meet in this way, they enrich one another through interaction. Diversity is no longer an abstract value, but a lived experience shaped by mutual respect.
