✊ Uniting young climate activists
🌍 Nordic and Baltic Sea region We get together in Åland to learn, share knowledge and strategise for the year ahead.

ReGeneration 2030’s main project each year is our annual 4-day sustainability festival at the end of August. We believe that the youth sustainability movement will only succeed in our region if we’re well connected and well organised. Learn more at www.ReGenerationWeek.org. We also run a Leadership Programme in Circular Economy each year where we equip people with the skills to implement circular economy solutions in their communities. Graduates from last year now form their own volunteer working group, where they are cooking up circular economy workshops to take to schools around the region. New Secretary General alert!

Since May, Lukas Kluge has taken over from Keira Dignan, who is on parental leave, to run the ReGeneration 2030 ship⚡

Lukas is a climate organizer based in Copenhagen, where he has been working in different climate organisations since 2019. He has run campaigns for a fossil-interest free university, for a car free city, against the danish governments plan to expand the highway network of the country and against the emissions of the intensive danish industrial agriculture.

He holds a MSc in Climate Change and is the author of the book ”For Alt i Verden” (eng: For all the world) about strategy, culture and organisation in the climate struggle.

Alva and Coco have both been organising in the climate justice movement for many years, and are also part of organising this years ReGeneration Week🌹

Not only that, they will also hold a workshop where they will bring the theory and the practicals on knowledge and skills sharing so that we, the climate justice movement, build capacity and strengthen each other🌊

On Friday the 7th August, young climate organisers are joining the Ålanders on the streets of Mariehamn. We unite in anger and in love to demand that the people in power prioritise people and the planet over the profit of corporations.

We march for the shared vision of indigenous sovereignty, good jobs, affordable housing, drinkable water and breathable air - we are united in the battle against fossil fuels and the rise of the far right.
