on Espoo-päivillä lauantaina 30.8.2025 klo 11.30 alkaen.

Better late than never: Here at last a little longer video of GaiaStage's Zero Carbon Karaoke Björkboda on 3.8.2024 Yep, that was fun!! : )

Here a little round up of our open day contribution at the Sustainable Science Days Helsinki (SRISSD2024) where we demoed how a couple of generator stations for standard road-bicycles can easily power a small sound system (70W RMS). In fact, it was too loud, and we were asked to stop early!! 😄 Also, we realised that if we joined at their activities the same week, we would have done more for the environment than by preaching to the converted attending the SRI SSD Congress... Also, we can't help to feel that we were assisting to some extent in green-washing the sponsors of the event. 🤫

Demo with 2 pedal power generator-stations running a pair of loudspeakers at approx. 70Watt RMS

Another funding application for GaiaStage was turned down today... If there are any potential sponsors out there to get us going, help us out — we can't start this without funding!

https://GaiaStage.org Website reworked and (hopefully) improved! Have a look and let us know your thoughts!

The audience comes to GaiaStage by bicycle and dock their bikes to a number of generator-stations. By pedalling their bikes on the stations, they provide the electrical energy for the off-grid infrastructure.
