Inspirations:Cary Grant

A young man named Archie arrived in America by ship together with his theatre troupe. A fateful meeting with a famous director changed everything — the director suggested a new stage name, Cary Grant, and soon the young actor became the favorite of all American women.

Our project recreates the elegant, iconic atmosphere of Hollywood’s 1940s.

The source of inspiration was actor Matt Dillon, as my model bears a resemblance to him. I
created an image in the style of the 1940s — the era of masculine elegance. A shirt, suspenders,
classic trousers, and shoes complement the hairstyle done in the “wet wave” technique. The look
conveys the atmosphere of old Hollywood in a modern interpretation.

The title of the look is “Gangster.”
The image is inspired by William Clark Gable, who played a gangster in one of his films. Gable
was an American film actor often called “The King of Hollywood” and “the American s*x symbol”
of his time. The American Film Institute recognized him as one of the greatest stars in cinema
history.
The look highlights all the traits, character, and style of the 1930s–1940s mafia era.
