❓️What happens after we raise enough money for an ambulance?
First, we look for the best ambulance we can get with the donations. We don’t want to buy scrap metal — we want something reliable that can actually save lives.
Then we make the deal and arrange transport. In Finland, that can mean anything from a short drive to over 1150 km and back.
Once ambulance arrives:
•maintenance, repairs, servicing
•replacing worn parts
•installing all-terrain tires so it can handle Ukraine’s rough roads
•And then a lot of paperwork!
We want every ambulance delivered ready for duty — not as someone else’s repair project.
After everything is ready, we drive the ambulance directly to the recipient in Ukraine ourselves.
Then we come home.
And yes… there’s still more paperwork after that 🫡
