On this proud occasion of Utkal Divas (Odisha Day), we celebrate the historic formation of Odisha as a separate province on 1st April 1936, a landmark moment that marked the recognition of the Odia language, identity, and cultural unity.

Utkal Divas is not just a remembrance of our history, but a celebration of the spirit of Odisha — its rich heritage, classical art forms like Odissi dance, timeless traditions, literature, and the enduring resilience of its people.

Even miles away from home, the Odia Association of Finland joins in honoring our roots and proudly keeping the Odia identity alive. This day reminds us of our shared journey, unity, and cultural pride that continues to connect Odias across the world.

The Odia Association of Finland (OAF) organized a joyful Christmas celebration with a potluck, bringing everyone together to share delicious food and festive cheer. The event featured fun games and exciting prizes for kids, making it a memorable celebration for families and the community. 🎄🎁
