With one listen to Everett W. Miller, you will hear a sincere love and passion for the Lord. A gifted tenor, Everettâs voice carries a unique anointing and passion for gospel music.
The son of a pastor and choir director, Everett began singing and directing at an early age. By 14, he was directing his fatherâs church choir and performing throughout his hometown of Danville, Illinois. From 1992â1997, Everett toured internationally with the entertainment group Up With People, performing throughout Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Belgium, France, Liechtenstein, Mexico, and cities across the United States. After touring, Everett returned home and served as Minister of Music at New Life Church of Faith, where he wrote music, performed with his sisters in the gospel group Purpose, and became an ordained minister.
In 2005, Everett moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to further pursue his musical calling. He joined the Nashville Super Choir under gospel music icon Dr. Bobby Jones and appeared with the choir on The Bobby Jones Gospel Show on BET. Through this opportunity, Everett shared the stage and recorded with some of gospel and R&Bâs most celebrated artists, including Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Shirley Caesar, Karen Clark Sheard, Kim Burrell, Ledisi, Fantasia, Patti LaBelle, and Dionne Warwick.
In 2013, Everett released his debut project, Created to Worship, produced by Grammy and Dove Award winner Ron Rawls. Everett co-wrote every song on the project, which received national gospel radio airplay and led to ministry and performance opportunities across the United States, Finland, and Italy. He was also nominated for Best Male Artist at the Music City Gospel Music Awards.
In 2017, Everett became Director of Music and Arts at Divine Faith Ministries in Nashville. He continues to serve as a session and background vocalist, including singing on CeCe Winansâ Grammy Award-winning project Let Them Fall in Love. In 2024, Everett released his single âYes,â available on all digital platforms.
Everett is now residing in the Gospel Music Capital, Chicago, Illinois, where he is working on his new gospel project and continuing his musical journey of worship, ministry, and inspiration.
