Today was parkrun Tutu day (22 August i.e. two two 😂) and we had 2 runners in tutus! Well done Iris and Veranika for entering into the parkrun spirit 👏

As Tokoinranta was cancelled due to the Helsinki Marathon we had expected a good turnout and you did not disappoint! We had 126 finishers with 41 joining us in Espoo for the first time including tourists from the Netherlands, UK and Australia. Thanks for coming out to Puolarmaari!

🏆 Well done to the 20 finishers who got a personal best 👏 💪

For this mid-August let’s celebrate 3 recent milestones. Congratulations to Dimitrii on reaching his 25th last Saturday and Nelli who completed her 100th on 25 July. And to Marit who often hands out and sorts tokens for us on reaching her 25th volunteer milestone. Here’s to the next milestone!

👟 79 people ran, jogged, or walked the course.
🙌 8 people completed their first ever parkrun - welcome! We hope you come back again.
🌍 14 joined us in Espoo for the first time including tourists from England who really liked the route.
🏆 Well done to the 14 finishers who got a personal best 👏 💪 .
