November is here, and this month INWA is heading to Japan!

Why Japan?

Because our Nordic Walking community reaches right around the world. Our members span the globe, including Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Bringing the INWA Convention to Japan brings us closer to our Asia-Pacific community and gives members worldwide the opportunity to meet, share ideas, and learn from each other.

Hosted alongside the Japan Nordic Fitness Association JNFA, the INWA Convention 2026 will also make a little INWA history as our first Convention in Asia.

Different countries. Different experiences. One global Nordic Walking community with plenty to share and plenty to learn from each other.

Not joining us in Japan? Don’t worry. The Convention will be recorded and available to replay, so you can stream it from the comfort of your own home. Watch this space for details

Looking back on Lahti, one highlight of the World Championships was our New Member Meet-Up.

It was a real pleasure to meet individuals and representatives from countries interested in joining the INWA community, learn more about Nordic Walking in their regions, and discuss how we can work together in the future.

We were especially pleased to meet with people from South Africa and Kazakhstan, both of which are now moving towards joining INWA.

We hope to finalise everything and officially welcome them very soon.

Did you miss our New Member Meet-Up in Lahti? It is never too late to join us.

Please contact Karen, our Operations Manager, who will be happy to help with all the information you need to become part of the INWA Nordic Walking family.
