From April 28–29, 2026 (2018 E.C.), in the beautiful city of Bahir Dar—the jewel of Lake Tana—an annual Civil Society (Charity) Organizations Partnership, Experience Sharing, and Exhibition Forum is being held at the regional level.

At this event, the Yenege Tesfa Integrated Development Humanitarian Organization, which is actively implementing impactful programs in the cities of Gondar and Debark, is participating by sharing its good practices and experiences. It is also taking part in the exhibition in this meaningful way. ❤

Yenege Tesfa Integrated Development Humanitarian Organization, in collaboration with the Gondar City Administration Department of Health, has launched a free medical campaign that will last for four consecutive days from March 4 to 7/2026. More than 500 needy members of the community living in Gondar city who cannot afford medical treatment will benefit from this program.
His excellency Mr. Seid Yeshaw, Head of the Department of Health in Gondar City Administration, in his opening speech at the launch of the program thanked Yenege Tesfa Humanitarian Organization for its activities and stated that the Gondar City Administration would provide the necessary support to the organization.
This program was reported by Fana Broadcasting Corporate, Amhara Media Corporation, and Gondar City Communication.

On December 31, 2025, the Executive Board of Yenege Tesfa Integrated Development Humanitarian Organization held its regular summit in Gondar.
During the session, the board evaluated and ratified the new candidate board members based on the organization bylaw. Those are:
1. Mr. Lijalem Gashaw - Vice President of the University of Gondar
2. Pro. Telake Azale - Professor of Mental Health Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Gondar.
3. Mr. Zenebe Melese - Psychologist at the University of Gondar, Psychological counselor and trainer, and
4. Eng. Maru Admasie - School Principal.
Dear new board members, on behalf of our staff and beneficiaries, we would like to express our joy that you are by our side with full willingness to support and strengthen our humanitarian work.

Yenege Tesfa Integrated Development Humanitarian Organization works to improve the nutrition system of children and disadvantaged community members through school feeding programs and rural single mothers' vegetable and crop production practical training and agricultural inputs support.
So, Yenege Tesfa in partnership with Ethiopiaid - Australia provided theoretical and practical training on vegetable production for 30 teachers and feeding facilitators in 10 selected primary schools, and also for 30 rural single mother farmers in Gondar and Debark project areas with collaboration of Gondar city Education Department and Debark city agriculture office.
In addition, the organization distributed Shovel, Pick-axe, Water cane and different vegetable seeds such as Carrot, Sallad, Potato, Cabbage and Pepper to schools and for trained single mothers.
After the training completion, Mr. Beweket Ayenew head of Debark city Agriculture office and Mr. Gashaw Eshete from Gondar city Education department transferred their messages for trainees about the importance of the training and the way of implementation and follow up for better nutrition within the community.

Part -2 School uniform support.

The students who received uniform support expressed their happiness to the Yenege Tesfa Organization because of helping them to avoid being expelled from school because of their shortage of uniforms. They expressed their delightment at being able to wear uniforms like any other students and assured their hope that their education will continue to improve.

Ato Kassaw Ambachew, the project coordinator of the Debarak Branch Office of the Organization, said that the organization is conducting a number of support activities by studying and identifying the most economically disadvantaged sections of the community in Debark city. He explained that in the education sector alone, the branch office is providing support to 1081 students through students' school feeding, educational materials support, free medical services, and students' education sponsorship projects.The head of the branch office stated that the provision of various supports helps in the quality of education, explaining that the students who scored high in the 12th grade university entrance exam this year were the students who benefited from the organization's school feeding and sponsorship support. He indicated that today alone, 300 student uniforms, costing over 314 thousand birr, were provided to students from seven schools. He also stated that they will continue to strengthen their support in the future.
