On 17 April, 2026, the Integrated Pastoral Development Organization successfully conducted "First Round Inclusive Dialogue" as a part of civic and voters education in Gambella town. The session involved women, youth, religion leaders, and people with disabilities.

The focus areas during the event were peaceful electoral process, inclusivity, informed participation of citizens in election, etc. This session were carried out using practical group discussion, presentation, and questions and answers.

The Integrated Pastoral Development Organization has successfully completed two days of Civic and Voter Education (CVE) training of trainers (ToT) organized from March 28-29, 2026. The training brought together volunteers and facilitators from Gambella Town, Itang Special District, and Lare District. The main aim of the training is to:
-Raise the awareness of the community
-Promote informed participation
-Promote a peaceful election
The participants expressed their commitment to completing the assigned tasks across the targeted woreda and kebele.

On 28, 2026, the Integrated Pastoral Development Organization launched it's civic and voters education project entitled Strengthening Ethiopian's Election for Democratic Sustainability. This project is financially supported by UNDP and NEBE to be implemented in Gambella town, Itang Special Woreda, and Lare Woreda for six months. The event was opened by delegate from Gambella town administration. The participants of launching were representative from CSOs, kebele, delegate from Gambella region NEBE branch office, and INGOs. The project main aims is to raise the awareness of community, promote informed participation, and strengthen peaceful election process in the targeted locations.
