🌱 Battling the w**d locally named "Wanjali" highly threatening Onion Farms in Hulul Mojo Kebele! 🌾👩🌾👨🌾
Today was a day of hope and collaboration for onion farmers in the Wahel Cluster, Hulul Mojo Kebele! A dedicated team of agricultural researchers from Haramaya University, in partnership with the Bifle Mind Organization, visited local onion farms to tackle the invasive w**d crisis caused by "Wanjali" – a notorious w**d devastating crops and livelihoods.
🔍 The aggressive w**d Wanjali 🌿 is choking onion farms, outcompeting crops, and threatening yields. But solutions are on the horizon! The team conducted field assessments, collected w**ds samples, and engaged directly with farmers to study Wanjali’s impact and explore sustainable solutions.
💡Onion farming is a lifeline for many families in the region. By combining cutting-edge research with community knowledge, this collaboration aims to defeat Wanjali and develop eco-friendly strategies to protect crops and boost productivity.
