The Minard family is living in Ethiopia, reaching out to orphans and families and helping to keep birth families together. I am a full time, long term volunteer at Grace Center in the role of onsite Director. Your support allows me to work full time at Grace Center Foundation for 2 or more years. e for me to continue to help save lives, empower the people of Ethiopia, improve quality of life, assist individuals with developmental disabilities, help with outreach to children growing up in prison as well as helping to keep birth families together! Grace Center has a child day care and adult vocational program which makes it possible for birth parents to gain job skills, obtain jobs and support their families. Day cares are NOT common or even existent in most of Ethiopia. Without the help of Grace Center, many of these single parent families would have to relinquish their children to an orphanage or abandon them. This is the reality in Ethiopia for many single parents. Many of the single parent families are mothers who were r***d or left by their childs father upon discovery of the pregnancy. In some cases the father is a husband who has left the family.
