Project Ethiopia Benevolence is dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus with the people of Ethiopia-one by one-and ministering to their physical as well as spiritual needs as best we can. Now we are back in America, and invite anyone who wants to help but can't actually go themselves, to partner with us. We will be the 'boots on the ground' and involve you as much as possible with the people you wa

One of our priorities at Tesfa house is teaching the children job skills that will be useful to them as adults. So today was about learning some basic carpentry skills.

When I see videos like these, I know that PEB is on the right path. These 20 rescued children now living safely in Tesfa House are now ‘paying it forward’ and helping others in need. Thanks to all of you who contribute to PEB- together we are changing lives!

Today was a very special day for the Tesfa children. They got to eat kitfo, which is raw meat dipped in a spicy hot sauce! This is considered a real delicacy and none of the Tesfa kids had ever been able to afford this before. Enjoy the video….

In southern Ethiopia along the Kenya border, there is a small town called Turmi. I lived there many years ago. The people there are what we would call pagan, living as nomadic herders. They worshipped many gods. Tribes would raid and kidnap women from each other, they would kill and steal cattle. Small children who did not conform to their physical standards were called ‘mingee’ (cursed) and were left to die in the bush. Gradually, as Christian evangelists began to come into the area, the gospel was spread, and these people‘s lives begin to change for the better. They speak of hope for a better future for their children. Now there are small groups of Christian believers living in this area. They have established a few small churches and now they are building schools. I have seen the beginnings of the school last September when I visited. They built the classroom in faith, not having enough money to finish it.
These people have emerged from the darkness, and are striving to live in the light now. I think we should help them. We who live in such luxury in the west, with so many options available to us, should not forget our brothers and sisters who are struggling in other parts of the world.
They need $1200 to finish this classroom.
Let’s do it! if you’re reading this, you actually have an opportunity to touch many lives in a far corner of the world that you would never have an opportunity to go to yourself. You will see pictures and hear testimonies as the school is finished and know that 💯 of your money went exactly to this project. Venmo
Or message me for other ways to contribute.

A wonderful Christmas greeting from the Tesfa house children of Project Ethiopia Benevolence. With your financial and prayer support this past year, you have made a huge difference in their lives!
As you celebrate Christmas with your own family, tell them about your part in this story. The Bible says this in James 1:27
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: To look after orphans and widows in their distress”.
This you have done. May God bless you.

Some of our girls wanted to share their clothes with girls still living on the street.
I am so proud that they recognize that they have been rescued by God and set upon a different, hopeful path for their future. But they haven’t forgot others who are still living on the street. They are learning to “pay it forward”. As they have been blessed, they are sharing that blessing with others!

Today Zak our PEB Program Director send me this video and photos. He wanted to thank all of you donors who have supported the Tesfa children. You are the ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus to a suffering world. These children are learning from your example of sharing and are being encouraged to ‘pay it forward’. I’m so proud of these kids and how far they’ve come!
