Many people talk about this important date in Mali, thinking that it refers to the fall of 2nd republic under the leadership of president Moussa Traore in 1991. But what if I told you the date is far away important than just shutting down a single political regime?
The March 26th is an annual commemorating date dedicated to the nation's martyrs, sons and daughters who sacrifices and served to the final breath.
Undoubtedly, each nation deserve to be serve, particularly during the tough periods when evils are step up outdoors or stepped in across streets. While serving such noble missions, patriots who are fully committed for the collective safety, and security of the home town, the luckiest people won special status called "Martyrdom or the nation's martyrs".
While commemorating next year March 26th, remember that it's not just about lost life of the 125 people on streets defending a type of governance, but it's about people who have chosen challenges, loneliness and death to secure sustainability of the homeland.
So, each year on March 26th let's us reaffirm gratitude to the people in front line fighting for our future.
In this particular occasion, a special motion goes to the nation's pride Mr. Adama Ouattara.
Adama was born in September 1991, after his graduation from high school in Bamako, he joined the uniform in 2015 to serve as a police officer.
Mr Ouattara has always been known for his outstanding supportive works for family and vulnerable communities since an early age.
He helped in people's debts payments, he volunteered spare times for the community, education institutions and religious spaces across the country.
After the 2022 reform on police status, Adama's new mission was to serve in front line, fighting evil enemies in Direy provenance, his parents tried to look for an excuse to abolish his travel. However, Adama's response late them speechless, he trustfully said:
" Nothing will happen, but the will of God! " unfortunately, this was his final thoughts to the world.
Although, the martyr Adama Ouattara left this world in November 2024, his thought will keep informing that: "nation's martyrs don't die, they're just surviving under the holly Arsh of Allah".
