AHRE has successfully conducted an experience-sharing workshop to strengthen the capacities of conflict survivors’ associations in the Amhara and Tigray regions. During the workshop, association representatives from Somali, Amhara, and Tigray regions shared experiences and lessons from their establishment and operational successes and challenges. Their experiences were very inspiring for informal associations to become registered and to actively participate in the transitional justice process.
The program is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under the Support to Transitional Justice (S2TJ) in Ethiopia Project.
