In this special reflection, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ ๐–๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ž๐ฒ๐ž๐ฌ, one of the pioneers who worked tirelessly for the establishment of Chemical Engineering at AAU, shares how the department was established, the challenges he encountered, and the determination it took to make the vision a reality.

As we reflect on the 25-year journey of ESChE, we recognize that our story did not begin with the Society itself. It began with pioneers who had the vision to establish Chemical Engineering education in Ethiopia and the determination to overcome the challenges along the way.
