๐Ÿ“ŒOn April 29, 2026, FAWE Ethiopia convened a dissemination workshop and policy dialogue under the GPE-KIX TUSEME Project, creating a platform for meaningful discussions on inclusive and gender-responsive learning environments for IDP and refugee learners.

The session brought together representatives from the Ministry of Education and relevant government institutions, Refugee and Returnee Services, development partners, civil society organizations, researchers, school leaders, teachers, and youth representatives, including IDP and refugee learners, to reflect on research findings and policy recommendations focused on improving access, participation, wellbeing, and learning outcomes for displaced and refugee learners.

A particularly engaging part of the session was the showcase by TUSEME club members through drama, poems, and awareness drawings carrying powerful messages. Through creative arts and self-expression, students demonstrated the importance of speaking out, advocating for change, and working together to identify solutions to challenges affecting their education and wellbeing.

It was inspiring to witness young learners confidently using their voices, talents, and creativity to raise awareness and promote inclusive and supportive learning environments.
