Advancing one of its seven new pharmacy initiatives launched during the Golden Jubilee of the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association (EPA) back in December 2024, the “Empowering Women in Pharmacy Initiative," the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association in collaboration with the Square Foundation, is conducting a three-day continuing professional development (CPD) training for female members of the Association in Hawassa.

The training, titled “Responding to Symptoms in Pharmacy Practice,” is being run from 21–23 August 2026. Notably, the cost of the program is fully covered by the Square Foundation, ensuring that participants can focus on learning and professional development.

We take this opportunity to strongly encourage all stakeholders and partners to follow this example by supporting the EPA and collaborating on similar initiatives. By partnering with the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association, we can collectively contribute to stronger outcomes and improved output.
