Hope for Children in Ethiopia

Children at Hope Entoto Kindergarten participated in a five-day summer camp led by volunteers from abroad. The camp focused on sharing the word of God, teaching various skills, and addressing children’s needs by providing casual clothing and support. Around one hundred children took part, including those from the kindergarten. The children expressed their gratitude through songs and performances, highlighting their learning and enjoyment.

Hope for Children in Ethiopia Relief and Development Association has developed a spring in the Chencha district to address water scarcity. Community involvement was strong, leading to collaboration with the branch office. The spring is expected to improve access to water, reduce the time women spend fetching it, decrease waterborne diseases, and empower residents by fostering resource ownership. The project also aims to inspire similar initiatives in nearby areas, enhancing public health and community resilience.
