Every child, including those with learning differences like dyslexia, deserves the chance to learn and thrive in school.

We are proud to have contributed to a groundbreaking new white paper from The Luminos Fund, which lays out a practical approach to inclusive education in low-learning contexts.

📄 The paper, "The Luminos Learning Differences Approach," emphasizes a powerful truth: effective instruction for all is the foundation of inclusion.
In Ethiopia and across Africa, many children struggle not because they can’t learn, but because they aren’t taught in ways that work for them.

At FANA Ethiopia, we believe inclusion should not mean separation or special tracks. Instead, it should be the natural outcome of high-quality, structured pedagogy that benefits every learner. This paper echoes our mission and offers evidence-based strategies that are already making a difference in Ethiopia and beyond.

Key takeaways:
✅ Start with effective, phonics-based literacy instruction for all.
✅ Use real-time monitoring to identify learners who need extra support.
✅ Foster joyful, safe, and inclusive classrooms.

We invite educators, policymakers, partners, and parents to read, reflect, and act on these important insights.

Together, we can ensure that all children - no matter their learning needs - receive the education they deserve.
