Pastoral Community Development Project-PCDP III Congratulations to all PCDP staff. The third phase of the project is approved by the Council of people's representatives of Ethiopia. Each phase has 5 years.

PASTORAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (PCDP III)
Pastoral Community Development Project (PCDP) is a 15 year project divided in to three phases. The project is implemented in Ethiopian Somali, Afar, Oromia and SNNP regions. Phase Implementation period Budget allocated No.of woredas

Phase II 2009-2013 USD 138.7 million 55 woredas
phase III 2014-2018 USD 2

10.2 million 113 woredas

Objective of the project
To increase income sources of the pastoralist and agro-pastoralists and expansion of social and economic services. Source of fund for Phase III
• International Development Agency (IDA) USD 110 million
• International fund for Agricultural Development(IFAD) USD 85 million
• Regional Governments contribution USD 1 million
• Beneficiary community contribution USD 14.2 Million
