EIWR's Academic Consortium currently consists of over 50 faculty from seven universities—five in Ethiopia and two in the US—and is open to scholars who can strengthen its capacity. The US portion of the team is diverse in terms of disciplinary focus (engineering, social science, environmental science, and the humanities), gender (over one-third women), and ethnicity (over 75% are foreign-born).
