Rotaract Ethiopia

Rotaract Ethiopia Rotaract Clubs bring together youth of ages 18 and above to exchange ideas within their community, d Rotary is a venue for fellowship and networking.

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio. Rotary clubs have had more than 60 years of service in Ethiopia. Besides Rotary Clubs there are Rotaract Clubs (Rotaract: short for β€œRotary in Action”) that constitute collections of youth. Rotaract is for young and passionate adults ages 18 and over who want to make a difference. It was founded in 1968 by Rotary International, an association of clubs made up of service-minded business and professional leaders. Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. This effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach. Today, there are more than 7,300 Rotaract clubs with some 170,000 members known as Rotaractors in over 150 countries. Clubs are either based in the community or in a university. Rotaract clubs enable Rotaractors to grow personally and professionally, address community needs, and promote international understanding through friendship and service. In Ethiopia, we have over 10 rotary clubs and 17 rotaract clubs in Ethiopia each with their own unique sense of pride for service in the community with the bond of friendship that exist in the fellowships that are so fun and engaging bearing future leaders and professionals. Rotract offers opportunities beyond one’s own expectations, a sense of joy and fulfillment in serving others as well as the immense fun and friendship that is created through the service and lot more of programs rotaract offers. Absolutely. Based on the message in the graphic, here’s a polished social media caption:

πŸ“šβœ¨ HAPPY NEW MONTH β€” SEPTEMBER! βœ¨πŸ“š

As we step into a new month, we renew our commitment to creating lasting impact through education and literacy.

September reminds us of Rotary’s focus on Basic Education and Literacyβ€”because education is more than a privilege; it is a powerful tool for breaking cycles of poverty, opening doors of opportunity, and empowering generations to come. 🌍❀️

Let’s use this month to learn, share, inspire, and create opportunities for those who need them most.

Together, let’s make education accessible and build a brighter future for every learner. πŸ“–πŸŒ±
