Nehemiah Autism Center is a Non governmental and a Non profitable organization. We are a group of families with autistic children. We were unable to send our autistic child to a school or a center who can teach and treat our children, due to lack of space in the only available autistic center in Ethiopia. So our option was, especially mothers, to abandon our job and stay at home to look after our

child with no hope insight. When one of the mothers, Rahel Abayneh, came with a vision to open another center for these kinds of children, we stand with her and managed to open this center. We are now trying to reach to so many autistic children who are deprived of their rights for education and rehabilitation because of no availability of school and society’s lack of awareness.

📌 ቦትስዋና እየተከናወነ ባለው በPACA (Pan Africa Congress on Autism) ኘሮግራም ላይ ዳይሬክተራችንን ጨምሮ የነህምያ የስራ ባልደረቦች ስለተገኘን የተሰማንን ደስታ ለመግለፅ እንወዳለን ፤ በዚህም ፕሮግራም ላይ ስለ ኦቲዝም በጎ የሚባል እውቀትን ከመጨበት ባለፈ ከኦቲዝም ጋር ተያይዞ እየሰራን ስላለው ስራ በዘርፉ ከሚሰሩ ከተለያዩ ድርጅቶች ጋር የመተዋወቅ እድልን ፈጥሮልናል።

🌟 ዛሬ የኢ.ፌ.ዲ.ሪ የሴቶችና ማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር ሚኒስትር የሆኑት ክብርት ዶ/ር ኤርጎጌ ተስፋዬ ፤ አቶ ነፃነት ለሜሳ የኢትዮጵያ ጠለፋ መድን ዋና ስራ አስፈፃሚ እንዲሁም የነህምያ ኦቲዝም ማዕከል የክብር አምባሳደር ባሉበት በማዕከላችን በመገኘት ጉብኝት አድርገዋል።

📌 ክብርት ዶ/ር ኤርጎጌ ተስፋዬ ማዕከላችን ከኦቲዝም ጋር ተያይዞ እየሰራ ስላለው ስራ በተላያዩ ሚዲያ አውታሮች ወይንም መድረኮች ከመስማት ባለፈ ወደ ግቢያችን በአካል በመምጣት ጠቃሚ የሚባል ጉብኝትን ማድረግ እና ስለ ማዕከላችን የተብራራ ገለፃን ማግኘት ችለዋል ፤ ይህም ጠቃሚ ጉብኝት እየሰራን ያለውን ስራ ወደ ተሻለ ደረጃ የሚያደርስ እና ነህምያ ኦቲዝም ማዕከል ከሌሎች የመንግስት ቢሮዎች እና አካላት ጋር የበለጠ አብሮ የመስራት እድልን የሚፈጥር ሆኗል።

🌟 Today, His Excellency Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, Minister of Women and Social Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia; Ato Netsanet Lemesa, CEO of Ethiopian Reinsurance and Honorary Ambassador of Nehemiah Autism Center, visited our center.

📌 His Excellency Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, in addition to hearing about the work our center is doing related to autism through various media outlets or forums, was able to visit our premises in person and receive a detailed explanation about our center; this valuable visit will take the work we are doing to a better level and create an opportunity for Nehemiah Autism Center to work more closely with other government offices and entities.

✨ His Excellency Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, for honoring us and visiting our center in person and spending a very valuable time at our center; In light of the multifaceted social problems that autism is causing to children, especially mothers, awareness, participation of stakeholders, and awareness-raising activities are fundamental.
