አልዛይመርስ ኢትዮጵያ / Alzheimer’s Ethiopia is proud to announce that it has officially registered as a member of the Alzheimer's Disease International, the world’s largest organization of Alzheimer associations in the 🌎 😁🧠
ADI would like to give a very warm welcome to our new country associations and new board members, as voted on at the ADI Council Meeting on 11 July 2025.
We are delighted to welcome new member associations አልዛይመርስ ኢትዮጵያ / Alzheimer’s Ethiopia, St Vincent and the Grenadines Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Association (SVGADDA), and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias in Zambia (ADDIZ).
Joining the ADI Board are Miia Kivipelto, who was elected as the Chair of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Panel (MSAP); Richard Davies, who was elected as Treasurer; Rosa Farres, who was re-elected to the Board; and William Yeates, who was elected to the Board position for a person living with dementia.
Lorène Gilly, Yea-Ing Lotus Shyu, and Cristina Calderón were all elected to the Nominations Committee.
We would like to take a moment to thank those who are stepping down from the ADI Board, Emily Ong and Dr Alireza Atri, for their dedication and continued work towards helping ADI improve the lives of those living with dementia, their families, and carers globally.
