๐ฌ The Gospel of Science
A Scientific Declaration for the Pursuit of Truth
Science is not a belief systemโit is a lifelong pursuit of truth through evidence, reason, and continuous discovery.
The Ten Principles of the Gospel of Science
๐น 1. Truth is pursued through evidence.
Truth is discovered by observation, experimentation, and verifiable factsโnot by assumption alone.
๐น 2. Every claim should be open to examination.
No idea is above questioning. Every claim deserves careful investigation.
๐น 3. Question assumptions, including your own.
Scientific progress begins when we have the courage to challenge even our own beliefs.
๐น 4. Knowledge grows through observation and experimentation.
Understanding advances through curiosity, testing, and learning from experience.
๐น 5. Accept correction when evidence changes.
Changing one's mind in light of new evidence is a strength, not a weakness.
๐น 6. Share knowledge for the benefit of humanity.
Knowledge becomes most valuable when it improves lives and serves society.
๐น 7. Innovation is a responsibility, not merely an opportunity.
Scientific discoveries should be used to solve real human challenges.
๐น 8. Ethics should guide the application of science.
Science without ethical responsibility can cause harm; wisdom must guide knowledge.
๐น 9. Curiosity is the engine of discovery.
Every great discovery begins with a simple question: Why?
๐น 10. The search for truth is never complete.
Science is an endless journey. Every answer opens the door to new questions.
A Different Kind of "Gospel"
Unlike a religious gospel, the Gospel of Science is not presented as divine revelation or unchangeable truth. Its principles are meant to be continually tested, questioned, refined, and improved as new evidence emerges.
In this sense, the Gospel of Science is less about what to believe and more about how to investigate, evaluate, and understand the world.
"Question. Observe. Discover. Improve. Repeat."
