Hiwot Ethiopia, in partnership with Social Development Direct, is committed to implementing a Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) programme from 2025 to 2030, as part of the RSH2 initiative. One of the major activities carried out in 2025 was a nationwide assessment with active participation from many stakeholders across the country to evaluate how well CSOs, government bodies, and private institutions understand and adhere to PSEAH principles.
The assessment was conducted by Hiwot Ethiopia together with the RSH2 technical team, using desk reviews, focus-group discussions, and key informant interviews. On 4 December 2025, a consultative workshop was held in Addis Ababa to present the assessment findings. Participants included representatives from CSOs, private institutions, government partners, INGOs, and the PSEAH network. At the workshop, we received constructive feedback and comments, which will be incorporated to finalize and implement the assessment.
Hiwot Ethiopia and the RSH2 team deeply appreciate your commitment, and thank everyone who provided input.
