the Environment Ethiopia, in partnership with , , and , continues to support communities in Liben Zone, specifically Dollo Ado and Bokolmayo, through a cooperative-based irrigation model.

Despite the ongoing severe drought, supported cooperatives are successfully conducting their second round of post-harvest production — a strong indicator of resilience and sustainability.

A key component of the project includes:
✍️Clearance of invasive Prosopis Juliflora trees.
✍️ Rehabilitation and conversion of degraded land into irrigable farmland.
✍️ Installation of solar-powered irrigation systems.

This integrated approach not only restores land productivity but also strengthens food security, builds climate resilience, and enhances livelihoods for host and refugee communities alike.

✍️Investing in renewable energy and cooperative-led agriculture continues to prove effective — even under extreme climatic stress.
