Join us this Friday for another fun and relaxed Critical Mass ride through Addis Ababa.

Organized in cooperation with LinkUp Addis and the Rotary Ethiopia, this unique gathering brings together youth groups, green initiatives, artists, cyclists, families, and changemakers from across the city.

This is not your usual climate event.
It’s a celebration of movement, joy, healing, and inclusion.

We’re doing something no one has done before in Addis: we’re taking school kids out… on bicycles.

As the city starts to become a more bicycle‑friendly environment, it’s only fair that we teach our youngsters how to move around safely, sustainably, and in a more environmentally friendly way.

We’re showing them street rules, safety, and how to ride confidently, so that one day cycling can become part of their everyday lives.

If you see a little army of kids in bright yellow vests, carefully guided by adults, riding in a patient, slightly wobbly line on the new bike lanes, or happily cruising along the riverside paths, that’s us, training Addis’ next generation of cyclists.
