Another successful milestone in Yirgalem, Gadelo Site.

Our team has completed the installation of a solar powered water pumping system, bringing safe, clean water to more than 1,800 people.

Clean water changes lives. It improves health, creates opportunities, helps children stay in school, and gives families hope for a brighter future.

We are grateful to be part of this journey and committed to reaching more communities with sustainable solutions that make a lasting difference.

As drilling and installation activities continue across our current project sites, we are also preparing for the next phase of our work through comprehensive site assessments for 2027.

Our assessment team is currently in the Debre Berhan area of the Amhara Region, working alongside zonal, woreda, and kebele leaders, as well as community members, to identify locations where access to safe and clean water is needed most. Through these discussions and field visits, we continue to hear firsthand about the daily challenges families face due to the lack of reliable and safe water.

Collaboration with local government and communities is essential to ensuring that every water project is carefully planned, locally supported, and positioned to create lasting impact. Every assessment strengthens our commitment to delivering sustainable solutions that respond to real needs.

Together with our partners, donors, and local stakeholders, we are building a future where more communities can thrive with access to safe water.

Progress update from Bishoftu Women’s Center:

The multipurpose hall is steadily rising, with concrete casting for several columns already completed while additional structural work continues on site. Step by step, the vision is becoming visible.
Once completed, the center will serve as a shared space for learning, dialogue, and empowerment. It will host trainings that strengthen skills, community gatherings that build connection, and women’s initiatives that grow into lasting impact for the surrounding community.
