ዛሬ፣ መስከረም 26 ቀን 2019 ዓ.ም.፣ ዶ/ር አምባቸው መኮንን ፋውንዴሽን (አመፋ) እና EcoVita Training and Consultancy በመካከላቸው የትብብር ማዕቀፍ ለመፍጠር የመግባቢያ ስምምነት (MoU) ተፈራርመዋል። ይህ ትብብር የአመፋን የድርጅታዊ፣ የቴክኒክ እና የአሠራር አቅም ለማጠናከር ያተኮረ ነው።
በዚህ ትብብር ሁለቱ ድርጅቶች የድርጅት አቅም ግምገማና የሥርዓት ማጠናከር፣ ሥልጠናና የቴክኒክ ድጋፍ፣ የሀብት ማሰባሰብና የፕሮፖዛል ዝግጅት፣ የለጋሽና የአጋር ዝግጁነት እና የክትትልና ትምህርት በጋራ ይሰራሉ።
ይህ ስምምነት በቀጣይነት ለመማር፣ የድርጅታዊ ሥርዓቱን ለማጠናከር እና ዘላቂ የድርጅት እድገትን ለማረጋገጥ ያለውን ቁርጠኝነት ያሳያል።
በቀጣይ ጊዜያት ፍሬያማ ትብብር፣ የጋራ ትምህርትና ልምድ ልውውጥ በማጠናከር፣ አመፋ ለሚያገለግላቸው ማህበረሰቦች የበለጠና ዘላቂ ተፅዕኖ ለመፍጠር የሚያስችሉ ጠንካራ የድርጅት ሥርዓቶችን በጋራ ለመገንባት ታሳቢ ያደረገ ነው።

Today, 6 October 2026, the Dr. Ambachew Mekonnen Foundation (AMF) and EcoVita Training and Consultancy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together in strengthening AMF’s organizational and technical capacity.
Through this partnership, the two organizations will collaborate on organizational assessment and systems strengthening, capacity building and technical support, resource mobilization and proposal development, donor & partnership readiness, and monitoring & learning
The partnership reflects AMF’s commitment to continuous learning, stronger institutional systems, and sustainable organizational development as the Foundation grows its programmes and partnerships.
We look forward to a productive collaboration, shared learning, and stronger systems that will help AMF deliver greater and more sustainable impact for the communities we serve.

Creating Dignified Workspaces for Leather Artisans

The Reach the Unreached: Empowering Marginalized Leather Artisans project, implemented by Dr. Ambachew Mekonnen Foundation (AMF) and Bee’s for Development Ethiopia (BfDE) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), is making meaningful progress toward creating more inclusive and dignified livelihoods for marginalized leather artisans.

A key milestone is the construction of a dedicated workspace that will enable artisans to move their work from their homes into a safer, more functional facility equipped with mechanized machinery—already procured and ready to support improved production.

Following an extensive process of identifying suitable land and working closely with the local government, construction is now well underway. The process began with the mobilization and active participation of the target artisans, facilitating access to the site and the transportation of construction materials using available local resources.

We are pleased to see significant progress on the wooden structure, with roofing and stonework currently underway.

This is more than a construction project. It is an investment in dignity, productivity, skills, and economic opportunity—creating an enabling environment where marginalized artisans can grow their businesses, strengthen their livelihoods, and build a more secure future.

የዶክተር አምባቸው መኮንን ፋውንዴሽን ጾታ ተኮር ጥቃትን ለመከላከል እና ተጎጂዎችን መልሶ ለማቋቋም የሚያስችል አዲስ ፕሮጀክት አስጀመረ።

ደብረብርሃን፡ መጋቢት፡09/2018ዓ.ም (አሚኮ) የዶክተር አምባቸው መኮንን ፋውንዴሽን በደብረ ብርሃን ከተማ ጾታ ተኮር ጥቃትን ለመከላከል እና ተጎጂዎችን መልሶ ለማቋቋም የሚያስችል አዲስ ፕሮጀክት አስጀምሯል።

ይህ ፕሮጀክት በተለይ በከተማዋ "ቻይና ካምፕ" ተብሎ በሚጠራው ጊዜያዊ መጠለያ ለሚገኙ ተፈናቃዮች ትኩረት የሰጠ ነው።

የዶክተር አምባቸው መኮንን ፋውንዴሽን መሥራች እና ዋና ዳይሬክተር መአዛ አምባቸው እንደገለጹት ተቋሙ በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ፣ በጋይንት እና በፎገራ ወረዳዎች መሰል ተግባራትን ሲያከናውን ቆይቷል።

አሁን ላይ ደግሞ በደብረ ብርሃን ከተማ የሚገኙ ተፈናቃይ ወገኖችን ለመደገፍ እና ጥቃትን ለመከላከል የሚያስችል ሥራ መጀመሩን ተናግረዋል።

የፕሮጀክቱ ማናጀር ዳንኤል አስፋው ፕሮጀክቱ ትኩረቱን በሴቶች እና ልጃገረዶች ላይ እንደሚያደርግ ገልጸዋል።

ፕሮጀክቱ በመጀመሪያው ምዕራፍ ለስድስት ወራት የሚቆይ ሲኾን በቀጣይም ተጠናክሮ እንደሚቀጥል ተገልጿል።

የደብረ ብርሃን ከተማ አሥተዳደር ሴቶች፣ ወጣቶች እና ማኅበራዊ ጉዳይ መምሪያ ኀላፊ በለጥሽ ግርማ በከተማዋ ለችግር ተጋላጭ የኾኑ በርካታ ተፈናቃዮች መኖራቸውን ጠቅሰዋል።

ይሁን እንጂ በዘርፉ የሚሠሩ ግብረ ሠናይ ድርጅቶች ቁጥር አነስተኛ መኾኑን ገልጸዋል።

የዶክተር አምባቸው መኮንን ፋውንዴሽን የበኩሉን ድርሻ ለመወጣት ወደ ከተማዋ በመምጣቱ ምሥጋና አቅርበዋል።

በከተማዋ ያሉ ሌሎች መሰል ችግሮችን ለመቅረፍም ሌሎች ድርጅቶች ድጋፍ እንዲያደርጉ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል።

በመጠለያ ጣቢያው የሚገኙ ሴት ተፈናቃዮች የአሁኑ አኗኗራቸው ለጾታዊ ጥቃት አጋላጭ መኾኑን ጠቁመዋል።

ፋውንዴሽኑ ይህንን ችግር ለመቅረፍ መምጣቱ ትልቅ እፎይታ እንደፈጠረላቸው ተናግረዋል።
