Major constraints in case of veterinary drugs dispensing
What is dispensing: it is process of preparing medicine and distributing to the users with provision of an appropriate information, counseling and follow-up. Some of the problem are Absence of prescription,absence of selective drugs, inbalanc between business and ethics of some professional and self prescription of owner.

Absence of prescription:
What is prescription: It is written therapeutic transaction between prescriber and dispenser. Incase of veterinary medicine both prescriber and dispenser is inseparate so that dispenser should perform both as pharmacist and clinician which requires experience as well as further investigation based on history and symptoms gathered from owners.

Lack of selective drugs in veterinary drug: means selective in term of causative agent and target action unfortunately veterinary drugs are broad spectrum due to lack of diagnostic facilitate thus impossible to find exact definitive causes in order to recommend single drugs for diseases that maximize drug adverse effects.

Lack of impartiality between bussines and prosseffional ethics: even though, of most of veterinary drugs story were intiationally founded for profit, being governed by professional ethics is mandatory:how ever most professional governed by bussines law without considering ethical some of veterinarian sold drugs by preference of owners. They promote of drugs as other commodity and sell it with out details explaination it's clinical effect only for high marginal profit. They refer old products only because of it is popularity by user even it updated.
Self prescription of drugs by owner:
Some owner need to by once upon she/he told to buy for some case and rejection of professional counseltancy.
All aforementioned constraints ultimately results drugs resistance.

በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የእንስሳት ሕክምና ኮሌጅ ስር በፕሮፌሰር አለማየሁ ለማ የሚመራው Smart Dairy System/CowsVille ፕሮጀክት፣ ዘመናዊ ቴክኖሎጂን በመጠቀም የወተት ላሞችን ጤናቸውን በመጠበቅ፣ የእርባታ አቅማቸውን በማሳደግ የወተት ምርት እና ምርታማነትን መጨመር ግብ አድርጎ የተነሳው ሲሆን ይህም በቢሾፍቱ እና በአሰላ የመጀመሪያዎቹን ትግበራዎች በማከናወን በኢትዮጵያ የወተት ላሞች እርባታን መለወጥ ጀምሯል።

በ2030 የከብት ሀብት ምርትን በሦስት እጥፍ ለማሳደግና የወተት ላም አርቢውን ገቢ በ40 በመቶ ከፍ ለማድረግ የተቀመጠው የኢትዮጵያ ትልቅ ራዕይ ሊደረስበት የሚችል መሆን ማሳያ ይህን መሰል የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራ በእጅጉ ያስፈልጋል። በወተት ምርት መጨመረ የሌማት ትሩፋትን እውን ለማድረግ ትክክለኛ የቴክኖሎጂ አማራች ነው።
