Mundus

Mundus Promoting mobility, VET education, and intercultural learning for better employability. Mundus is an organization established in 2013 in Spain.

Mundus aim is to promote international mobility, VET education and intercultural learning. Our mision is to prepare young people to successfully meet the challenges of the nowadays society by empowering them through international learning experiences. The main activities of Mundus consist in managing international training and mobility projects such as internships, volunteering, youth exchanges an

d training courses, especially within the frame of Erasmus+ programme. In the field of education, our expertise lies on the international mobility VET projects management. Every year we host and send an average of 4,000 VET students from all professional families who carry out their internships in European countries. The network includes companies from all professional fields, making this opportunity available to as many students as possible. Besides, Mundus has acquired a wide experience in managing projects within the fields of education and interculturality. We work in the framework of programmes such as Erasmus+ KA2, Europe for Citizens or INTERREG POCTEFA, among others. We coordinate one of the only two pilot projects for setting up mobility schemes for VET providers between Africa and Europe: SAAM.

TourX wrapped up in Brussels on 26–27 May with two important final moments: our Final Conference and the last Transnational Project Meeting. 🎯

The Final Conference brought together partners, policymakers, researchers, VET providers, and tourism stakeholders to reflect on what it really takes to build vocational excellence in tourism. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and exchange with the wider ecosystem, we explored both the bigger picture — skills, innovation, sustainability, and the role of CoVEs — and the practical side of implementation: piloting tools, working with real users, building partnerships, and learning from both achievements and challenges.

What stood out most is that TourX was never only about producing tools. Over four years, the project built something much broader: connections between education, industry, and regional actors, practical cooperation across countries, and a shared commitment to strengthening tourism skills in Europe.🌍

Following the conference, partners came together for the final Transnational Project Meeting to review achievements, complete the final closure steps, and reflect on sustainability and future opportunities.

For Mundus, it was especially meaningful to contribute to this final moment as leader of the mobility component, after a long journey of coordination, international exchange, and cooperation across countries and organisations. 🤝

TourX ends here, but the relationships, experience, and cooperation it created will continue. ✨

The BESIS Forum 2026🌍, held at Mobility City in Zaragoza, brought together organisations and international experts to reflect on how to ensure continuity for the results of European and international projects. The event focused on sustainability, cooperation between entities, and the creation of new partnerships capable of transforming previous experiences into opportunities for innovation and social impact. It was an initiative promoted by Foundation, and we had the opportunity to participate in the panel “Connecting Europe: Real opportunities for sustainability in education, culture and citizenship”.🎓🤝

Béatrice Bellet, Director of Mundus International, shared a panel discussion with Jessica Hidalgo, Punto Europeo de Ciudadanía; Programa CERV; Marta Lozano Molano, expert in financing for the Cultural and Creative Industries; and Déborah Salafranca Vázquez, CIFAL Málaga – United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) .

Many thanks to Carlos Franco and the whole .foundation team for this invitation and for the opportunity to meet new international organisations and build bridges for collaboration.

⚡🌍 The VET POWER project meeting, hosted by us at MUNDUS in Zaragoza, Spain, has officially come to an end. It was a real pleasure to welcome all partners to our city and share a week of collaboration, learning, and international exchange together.

Over the past few days, partners from Europe and Africa worked together to review the progress of the project and prepare the next steps for future activities and student opportunities.

The discussions focused on:
➡️Developing innovative vocational training in electricity.
➡️Strengthening teaching methods and international cooperation.
➡️Preparing future mobility opportunities and exchanges between partners from Africa and Europe.
➡️Visiting companies, student residences, and vocational training centres in Zaragoza to learn from real examples and build new connections.

A special thank you to the organisations and institutions that welcomed the consortium during the study visits, including the Odalys Campus Zaragoza accommodation team and the Salesianos Nuestra Señora del Pilar vocational training school, for sharing their experience, facilities, and inspiring practices with all participants.

This meeting was another important step towards creating stronger international partnerships and better opportunities for students, teachers, and vocational training centres.

Thank you to all partners and participants for your collaboration, ideas, and positive energy throughout the week.

In this session, Pilar Ripollés (Project Manager at Mundus) will share and explore how we can create spaces where young people feel more comfortable taking part.
