⚡ The EU is investing strongly in alternative fuels infrastructure, including thousands of new charging points.

This is good news for clean mobility — but it also creates a clear training challenge.

Who will maintain, diagnose and support the growing electric mobility ecosystem?

Projects like Elec_vehicle help answer that question by supporting VET providers and automotive professionals with updated training on electric vehicles, safety and digital learning tools.

🚗 The infrastructure is growing. Skills must grow with it.

The Commission has selected 39 new projects deploying alternative fuels infrastructure that will receive over €422 million in EU support.

🌿 Arranca el Festival Eco-Art 2026 en Valladolid

Ayer domingo se presentó en sociedad la nueva edición del Festival Eco-Art, un espacio que desde el 14 al 21 de Junio convertirá Valladolid en un punto de encuentro entre arte, sostenibilidad, participación e inclusión. El acto contó con la presencia de Mayte Martínez, Concelaja de Participación Ciudadana y Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Valladolid.

Impulsado por La Bien Pagá Espacio Escénico y Plataforma HÁBITAT, y con la colaboración y apoyo de INFODEF, el festival reúne actividades culturales, educativas y comunitarias para todas las edades, promoviendo valores como la creatividad, la convivencia, el respeto por el medio ambiente y la innovación social.

Durante los próximos días, la ciudadanía podrá disfrutar de teatro, talleres, naturaleza, bienestar, gastronomía, actividades participativas y propuestas vinculadas a distintos proyectos europeos que trabajan por una sociedad más sostenible e inclusiva.

🔌 More electric vehicles require more charging infrastructure — and more skilled professionals.

The EU’s Alternative Fuels Infrastructure framework supports the deployment of publicly accessible recharging points across Europe.

But infrastructure alone is not enough. Technicians, trainers, VET centres and automotive professionals also need the right knowledge to support the transition.

Elec_vehicle contributes by developing training resources on EV maintenance, repair, safety and digital learning.
