VICA - Valencia Irish Cultural Association We aim to promote the culture of Ireland in Valencia through Irish music, dance, language, visual arts and literature

Valencia, Spain's third largest city, has a large Irish population, who contribute much to the city. Our aim is to bring Irish and Valencians together in appreciating our rich heritage and to create an opportunity for intercultural exchange. Valencia tiene un gran población irlandesa, quienes contribuyen mucha a la vida de la ciudad. Nuestro objetivo es unir los irlandeses y valencianos con la cultura, y crear un comprensión mutual entre todos.

On Sunday 2nd November, VICA Reader's group got together in the wonderful ambient surrounds of to discuss, read and celebrate the uncanny, macabre and supernatural stories, tales and lore of the Samhain festival, the turning of the Celtic year, and its connection to world traditions, such as Mexico's Día de los Mu***os.
