🇧🇬 A fond farewell to our wonderful group of teachers from Bulgaria! 🎉✈️

What an incredible week of professional growth, knowledge exchange, and inspiring visits as part of our Job Shadowing program! 📚✨

Yesterday, we wrapped up a successful week of job shadowing the best way we know how — with our traditional paella workshop! 🥘💃 As with all our groups, it was a delicious and fun way to celebrate everyone’s hard work.

Today, we officially said goodbye and handed out their well-deserved certificates. 📜👏 We also ensured their private airport transfers were right on time so everyone could depart and arrive home safely.

Thank you to all the participating teachers for your energy, dedication, and great spirit. We wish you endless inspiration and success as you bring these new ideas back to your classrooms! Safe travels! 👋💙

This week at 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚, we have the absolute pleasure of hosting an inspiring group of educators and professionals from Haskovo, Bulgaria, for a job shadowing program focused on Innovations in Vocational Education and Training (VET)!

Here is a glimpse into their journey so far:

🏡 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 & 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬

Upon arrival, our participants were welcomed and checked into our high-quality accommodations by our colleagues Aran and Pedro. We kicked off the experience with a lovely city tour through Valencia. Our guests were amazed to learn just how much Valencia has contributed to the world through its historical and modern inventions!

📚 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 & 𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡

At the Eurovoca Training Centre, we dove straight into an introduction to the Spanish Education System. Together, we explored key differences between education in Spain and Bulgaria, highlighted the success of Spain’s dual vocational system, and discussed how VET is rapidly expanding across the country.

Yesterday was truly inspiring! We visited IES Lluís Simarro, a recognized Centre of Vocational Excellence in Xàtiva. This institution is pushing boundaries with cutting-edge AI and Big Data projects, featuring:

🔹 An internal AI system loaded with a custom knowledge base—ensuring students get curriculum-aligned, teacher-approved responses instantly.

🔹 Smart home sensors and actuators controlled by AI throughout the facility, turning the school into a living lab for modern innovation.

⚙️ ⚙️ 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐗𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐜

Today, we visited Xabec, the top vocational school in Valencia! Cristina kindly guided us around the impressive facilities and explained the school’s forward-thinking educational plan. Their students gave our job shadowing participants a very warm welcome! Xabec stands out for its direct industry connections, operating as a specialized VET provider for major partners like Stadler (train manufacturing) and Air Nostrum (aircraft maintenance).

Integrating these types of AI, smart automation, and real-world industrial partnerships into training is something Eurovoca is proud to support for both teachers and students, helping educational institutions become more efficient, modern, and sustainable.

Diving deep into discovery at Oceanogràfic Valencia! 🌊🦭 Our students had an incredible time exploring Europe’s largest aquarium, home to over 45,000 marine animals and iconic underwater tunnels.
