At Gay Games XII València, the Memorial Moment brought people together through music, performance and shared remembrance. It reflected the same spirit behind the Memorial Quilt Exhibition, honoring the people and moments that have shaped the Gay Games community and its legacy.

Seeing everyone cheering, smiling, and counting down to the start of the Gay Games was a moment to remember.

The excitement was everywhere. Everyone was ready to play, connect, celebrate, and begin the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sports and cultural event.

And this was only the beginning. 🔥

Courts, pools, tracks, and arenas filled with passion. Every point earned, every finish crossed, every cheer shared became part of one story. 🏅🏐🤽🏃

Between the competition, there were the moments we’ll remember most. New friendships. Team celebrations. Spontaneous dances. Loud laughter. Pride worn with confidence. 💃🕺🏳️‍🌈❤️

The Gay Games remind us that sport brings people together, and being yourself is always worth celebrating.
