Hi guys, just thought I’d make a post as its been a while. You are probably aware we haven’t put a great deal up over the last three weeks, that’s because, at the beginning of August it is really too hot, plus the fact that we experience problems require parking spaces for our members. Generally in August it gives me a month rest from the admin side of the club and it gives the members a chance to go out whenever they want and do their own thing for a month. Its been a very strange year and we can only put that down to what’s happening in this crazy world that we’re living in. Easter this year was one of the quietest Easters I’ve ever known and this summer has repeated itself with very few British and Irish tourists around the beaches. It seem to be full of French Spanish and Dutch. As you can see in the photos Mil Palmeras last week at 10 am, you could count the amount of tourist on two hands. We will be back meeting as a club the first week in September and continue with our posts. Hope you’re all having a great summer, a bit too hot for me, but there we go. Today’s meeting was at Pilar de la Horadada. Great turnout of Detectorists, a fantastic morning. It got too hot by 9 o’clock so we went to the wooden café, which is the cheapest coffee around, €1.50….

Friday 17th July’s meet was at Torre La Mata. We had a good turnout of lads and we all found our coffee money, Weather was kind, over cast but still very warm & humid, then coffee at the beach bar.

Last Fridays meeting was at Campoamor. Not too hot this morning, managed to get three hours detecting in and we had a very successful morning.
