Wednesday’s meeting was La Zenia. Seven Detectorist turned up, and our new member Atanas who is originally from Bulgaria and a freight HGV driver.
Considering the devastation a couple of weeks ago, the beach was in remarkable condition still a long way to go, but it’s definitely getting there.

We would like to say a big welcome to our new member Atanas. He is a long distance haulige driver covering the whole of Europe with fresh fruit and vegetables…he’s the one at the back…

Wednesday’s meeting was at Cala Capitan. Just three Detectorist turned up as everyone else is on holiday or working away. The beach was really wet and the sea was indeed very angry, considering there was no wind. Not much found today, we just about covered our coffee money

Good morning everyone. We held our first meeting on Wednesday after our summer break. Playa Del Glea was our chosen beach at Campoamor, and we were very surprised to see so many tourists at 8am, we came to the conclusion that this must be the second wave of summer holiday makers. Temperature has dropped significantly and it was a pleasure to detect without having to wipe the sweat out of our eyes😁, however the sea is still quite warm. Great turnout of members, coffee break at 9.30 and the usual banter. Oh, and I made some cookies 🍪 for a treat for the lads and lasses..
