EL AYTO DE TORREMOLINOS PREMIA AL REINCIDENTE Y RUIDOSO MELIÁ "COSTA DEL SOL"
El dos veces expedientado y múltiples veces denunciado por el ruido de sus maquinarias Meliá "Costa del Sol" no solo no ha sido sancionado por el Ayuntamiento ni obligado a que cumpla la ley, sino que LE HACEN UN HOMENAJE.
La Alcaldesa Margarita del Cid se ha dirigido al Director del hotel como "mi querido Carlos Franco" para rendirle honores.

TORREMOLINOS CITY COUNCIL TAKEN TO COURT OVER ALLEGED VIOLATION OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS DUE TO NOISE

Report on TVE. After years of residents fighting against the noise from the air-conditioning machinery at the Meliá “Costa del Sol” Hotel in Bajondillo (Torremolinos), and after receiving no effective solution from the City Council despite the existence of reports — backed by accredited acoustic companies — showing excessive noise levels, legal proceedings have now been brought against the City Council with lawyer Francisco Granados Romero over its failure to act and the possible violation of fundamental rights.

YEARS OF ILLEGAL NOISE IN TORREMOLINOS: RESIDENTS TAKE CITY COUNCIL TO COURT OVER MELIÁ "COSTA DEL SOL"

Residents living next to the Meliá "Costa del Sol" Hotel (Bajondillo) have endured years of relentless noise from hotel machinery, day and night. The noise affects nearby residents and may also affect guests staying at the hotel.
The case has already been reported by Euro Weekly News and TVE.
Several acoustic reports and official measurements confirm that noise from the hotel’s machinery exceeds legal limits, yet neither the hotel nor Torremolinos City Council has taken effective action to put an end to the problem.
There is now a major development: Torremolinos City Council has been taken to court over its alleged failure to act and the alleged violation of residents’ fundamental rights.

DENUNCIADO EL AYTO DE TORREMOLINOS POR VULNERACIÓN DE DERECHOS FUNDAMENTALES POR RUIDO

Noticia en TVE. Después de años de lucha de los vecinos contra el ruido de las maquinarias de aire acondicionado del hotel Meliá "Costa del Sol" del Bajondillo (Torremolinos), y de no recibir solución por parte del Ayto a pesar de contar con informes (avalados por empresas de ruido acreditadas) que demuestran el exceso de ruido, se ha presentado demanda judicial con el abogado Francisco Granados Romero contra el Ayto por su pasividad y posible vulneración de derechos fundamentales. ¿Para qué está la administración?, ¿para proteger a los más poderosos que incumplen la ley o para cumplir la ley y proteger a los ciudadanos?
