MAKEA Project at Kajaani University of Applied Science, chose us and Tarifa as hosts of their Benchmarking activities.

Tarifa is full of international entrepreneural talent and the professionals from Finland were impressed with the examples of creative non formal support that operate in the area.

Our network with northern universities is very strong. We benefit through comparison of parallel contexts at the edges of Europe. But southern sun inspires our northern colleagues to try new solutions.

We provide project management, networking, logistical support, and sunshine. They bring best practices from the resource rich Nordic education system. Win win.

Special thanks to the many entrepreneurs in Tarifa who shared their time with us.

Global Consensus meeting with our young leaders.

Global Society Institute hosted leaders from 4 continents in January, in Tarifa. Our youth exchange participants were there.

With intentional and genuine questions and curiosity, youth pushed experienced speakers to be specific. General positive statements are not enough. Youth deserve and demand real answers and information about world events.

Always a pleasure to see the potential our participants demonstrate.

Age of Disconsent Youth Exchange

In November 2025, the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Age of Disconsent” took place in Naples, Italy, hosted by our partner Two Plus Two. The project brought together young people from Italy, Armenia, Finland, and Spain, with partner organizations DiverCity (Armenia), Finnish Peace Committee (Finland), plus our six Strait Up participants. Age of Disconsent Youth Exchange.

Napoles organization .eu hosted 6 Strait Up youth for a week of exploration and discussion of political discourse in the age of technology, misinformation and social change.

Fantastic facilitation and true non formal education processes gave our participants a transformational experience, where they challenged each other to engage on difficult topics and self examination.

Podcasts documented the final outcomes and we can't wait to hear them!

That's a wrap on YICF!

After two years of trainings, youth exchange, toolkit preparation, local festivals and capacity building, the YOUTH FESTIVALS for COMMUNITY IMPACT project is over. Final reports are in today and its time for celebration and gratitude.

First, much love to our lead partner, .eu in Italy and the amazing Mapi for keeping the project management on point for this long term.

Then, .timisoara and for your experience with volunteers, events and creativity. We learned so much from your work and experience in Romania and Norway.

And last, but definitely not least, our local partners and participants who were the focus of the whole process. Especially and .hmd6 who were there every step of the way, , and Elina who travelled with us, and .earth who always support all we do.

When the final EU documents are published we will give you a link.

Café Europa with University of Cadiz and Mancomunidad Campo de Gibraltar.

It's a honour to be invited each year to this opportunity to debate and discuss Campo de Gibraltar's relationship with Europe.

Our local area has produced inspiring professionals who have influenced EU policy in the centers of governance and policy. These personal stories inspire new generations of lawyers from the University of Cadiz.

As a civil society organization dedicated to intercultural dialogue, we are happy to share the experiences of local youth who access EU opportunities through our programs and activities.

Over a year of preparation, but the eight project days went like a flash. This project exceeded all expectations. It was our first experience with all under 18 participants and the team proved that this generation is ready for anything. Our group of ten 15-17 year olds had the freedom and responsibility to organize implement and evaluate their own workshops. Together with their mentors and colleagues from Bremen Germany , they experienced hiking, martial arts, comic making, journalling, standard dance, language creation and aquisition, and killer poker games....

YICF Evaluation Team Meeting

The end of a two year project nears and its a time for reflection and evaluation.

We hosted our partners from Italy, Norway and Romania while considering the impact of each project stage.

Online workshops, youth worker training, youth exchanges, local festivals, EU toolkit and association capacity building each had distinct challenges and successes.

Overall, our local impact in Spain has already translated into new projects, professional opportunities and the emergence of new leaders.
